Hosted & Sponsored by Keele University and held at Keele Hall the event attracted over 100 attendees.
April 2011 Speed Networking Event
A different sort of networking event based on the speed dating concept but for businesses. The event was kindly hosted and sponsored by Richmond village Nantwich.
March 2011 Guests Inspired at Chamber Annual Dinner
Over 150 guests attended the South Cheshire Chamber Annual Dinner which was held in the impressive Events Centre at Crewe Hall Hotel.
The Business audience was welcomed by Chamber Chairman Steven Williams, followed by special guest speaker Peter Marks Chief Executive of the Co-operative Group, who gave an inspirational speech about how he and his team have dramatically grown the business.
 
The Co-operative Group now has an annual turnover of more than £14bn and operates 5,300 food, financial services, pharmacy, travel, funeral and motor outlets and is the UK’s largest mutual business. The Group employs more than 120,000 people and is owned by its six million members.
The Event was sponsored by The Co-operative Bank with Reception Drinks kindly donated by the Co-operative Food. The Evening concluded with comedian Tony Ruscoe.

held in the Environmentally Sustainable State of the Art Central Building, guests were also offered a tour of the new facilities.

This brand new service is designed to both inform members of local business events and promote Members’ events on their behalf.
This will be done virtually, through a listing on the Chamber Website www.sccci.co.uk in a forthcoming events list and on the events calendar and will be included in at least one general Events E-newsletter to members.
To have your event included in the listings foc it must be held at another member’s venue and be organised at least in part by Chamber Member(s).
