3. Crewe Heritage Centre
The centre offers a celebration of Crewe's rail heritage and makes an interesting activity for all. Key features include Model and minature railways as well as visiting main line steam locomotives; Crewe North Junction viewing area. A prototype Advanced Passenger Train, Gas Turbine Locomotive 18000 and original signal boxes can also be explored.

4. Dorfold Hall Gardens
Dorfold Hall is a Jacobean country house built in 1616 for Ralph Wilbraham. The hall's 18 acres of gardens reflect four centuries of gardening fashion. Visitors can also enjoy the fine specimen trees, a woodland and stream dell and a rock garden containing rhododendrons, azaleas, magnolias and acres. 01270 625245
5. Englesea Brook Chapel and Museum
Early 19th century 'Ranter' Chapel giving a taste of working class religion. Museum, shop, video, children's costumes and games, refreshments. The museum occupies the former Sunday School room, built in 1914 to the memory of Hugh Bourne.

6. Hack Green Secret Bunker
One of the nations most secret defense sites. Hack Green has played a central role in the defense of Britain for almost 60 years. As you approach Hack Green over the picturesque farmland and rolling Cheshire countryside, it's hard to imagine a more peaceful location.

7. Lakemore Country Park
Lakemore Country Park is located in the heart of Cheshire's tranquil countryside. Covering over 36 acres in total with over ten acres divided up into five landscaped lakes and nature trails. Visit the Rare Breeds farm and see the llamas, miniature donkeys, rare breed pigs, goats and many more. There is also a pets corner. The park has both indoor and outdoor children's play areas and a themed Crazy Golf course.

9. Lyceum Theatre
Crewe's Lyceum Theatre, built in 1911 is steeped in history. During 1994 this Grade II Listed building was substantially refurbished and today provides a wonderful venue for an action packed theatre programme, with the original Edwardian interior.

10. Nantwich Museum

12. Parish Church of St Mary
13th century building known as the 'Cathedral of South Cheshire'. Fine architectural features including modern needlework, glass and medieval wood carvings. In addition, there is a 14th century chancel, stone pulpit, bread oven, breathtaking Jubilee Curtain, kneelers, beautifully-carved misericords and canopies. Guided tours by arrangement.

13. Reaseheath Maize Maze
Reaseheath College have been since staging themed maize mazes since the 1999, Pirate Galleon maze. The early mazes were the first in Cheshire to be designed by Adrian Fisher, a world renowned maze expert. Since 2002 the mazes have been designed by Reaseheath staff. The theme for the 2009 maze was Witches and Wizards.

14. Snugbury’s Jersey Ice Cream Farm

17. The Firs Pottery
Come and design, make and glaze your own pot in our workshops held for individual groups, beginners or advanced. Spend the whole day working with clay under the expert guidance of Joy and Ken; hand building and/or wheel work (we do the firing). Corporate team building sessions available by arrangement. 18. Cholmondley Castle
